About Kinta
Kinta is an importer and wholesaler of atmospheric interior decor items from Africa and the Philippines. Our collection is made up of contemporary interior design items, which cater for the modern tastes of today?s Western European citizen. We provide wholesalers and retailers with products sustainably sourced in accordance with the principles of fair trade.
The Kinta approach
The Kinta collection is created through the selection of local products and from designs by our own designers. The items are both functional and decorative, made from natural materials and painstakingly produced. You can be sure that no child labour has gone into the production of a Kinta product. And that the makers have been paid an honest price for their products in advance. We trade without intermediaries, direct with the local producers, where they are. In addition, we pass on our knowledge to the makers, whereby they are better able to respond to the demands of the Western market. This approach improves both their business practices and standard of living, and enables us to offer a responsible, contemporary collection to our customers. Kinta is a recognised fairtrade importer/wholesaler by the Dutch Association of World Shops (Landelijke Vereniging van Wereldwinkels).
The Kinta collection
The Kinta collection renews at least twice a year, allowing us to continue to respond to future interior design trends in terms of colour and form. Each collection is brought about in close cooperation with the Kinta purchasers: first in the form of samples, on the basis of which our customers can then place their orders at a fair. Kinta can be found at the annual trade fairs in Frankfurt, but also has a permanent showroom in Culemborg, centrally located in the Netherlands. Customers can also make orders from this website. And our products can also be obtained from Tica, the easy shopping centre for retailers in Aalsmeer (2nd floor, Orange, A9).
Where can consumers find Kinta products?
Kinta products can be found in World Shops (Wereldwinkels) and various gift and home decoration shops in the Netherlands.
