The Kinta collection consists of three types of sculpture:

• human figures:
  - groups and individuals made from soapstone 
  - extremely fine, slender human figures carved from ebony (skeletons)
• animal figures: 
  - animal figures from soapstone and wood 
  - coloured birds carved from wood
• non-figurative: 
  - round, heart-shaped, and egg-shaped forms from soapstone
