The red glaze combines shades ranging from deep red to warm brown, enhanced with subtle blue and grey-green accents, reminiscent of the mysterious colours of a blood moon. The blue-green glaze evokes the atmosphere of a North Sea beach, where the sand, sea and sky blend together to create a calm and magical landscape. During the high-temperature firing process, natural sand granules in the clay may appear through the glaze as delicate dark spots, adding to the authentic character of each handmade piece. The cups are available in two sizes, both with an elegant foot and offered in both glaze variations. Each item is handcrafted in a family-owned pottery in Hanoi, now run by the eighth generation of skilled artisans who continue a rich tradition of ceramic craftsmanship.
